Real-Time Rendering

Visualize your designs in real time with V-Ray Vision. Move around your model, apply materials, and adjust lights and cameras—all in a live real-time view of your scene.

Extensive Library

The integrated asset library, Chaos Cosmos, allows you to search and add render-ready models, materials, and HDRI skies directly from the V-Ray toolbar. Cosmos assets are automatically configured, so you can render them without any prior adjustments.

Materials

Create realistic materials using texture maps or V-Ray’s built-in physical textures. You can adjust all materials for color, transparency, reflection, and repetition. For more variety, experiment with displacement, fur, and decals. You can even let AI generate a V-Ray Material by uploading a photo!

Lighting

V-Ray includes both artificial and natural lighting options. With global illumination, sunlight, cloud skies, HDRIs, and fully customizable artificial lighting, you have a wide array of options to highlight your project. The Light Gen Tool allows you to quickly test different lighting scenarios automatically.

Chaos Cloud Collaboration

Get quick feedback on your progress. With Chaos Cloud Collaboration, share your work with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, enabling them to view, annotate, and comment on it at any time.

Denoiser

Remove noise and significantly reduce rendering time. Use the V-Ray Denoiser to eliminate noise from every render element in post-production.

Chaos Cloud Rendering

Let Chaos handle your rendering work. With the push of a button, send your render to the cloud, where a Chaos supercomputer will process it quickly. This allows you to focus on your design and visualization tasks.

Swarm

Acquire additional render nodes and leverage computers in your network to contribute to your visualizations. This enables you to easily create your own render farm.

Accelerate your digital review workflow with Chaos Player. Play your own or your team’s animations as soon as rendering is complete. View new and updated frames instantly. This tool also allows for basic compositing, color grading, and editing in real time, even during playback.
